We have 30 ensuite bedrooms eight rooms are in the hotel building which dates from 1890, first floor. Three have seaviews (rooms 2,3,4,) Three are large family suites (rooms 18,8,11 ) Three are 5ft double beds with bathrooms. Three rooms are housed in a small flint and chalk cottage next to the hotel,ground floor(rooms 7,8,9,) Twelve luxury contempory style bedrooms are in the Herb Garden in the old walled kitchen gardens, these offer a high standard in a beautiful setting surrounded by the scent of lavender and rosemary bushes,very secluded and quiet, All ground floor ( rooms 20-31) Rooms 23,24,25,26 have meadow views and patio facing south for sitting in the sunshine. (Room 23 and 26 are particularly quiet and secluded) Rooms 30,31. Twin beds, Vi-sprung 3ft divans, wetroom shower with helpful grabrails The Potting Shed room 19 : An individually designed wooden house with views into the garden. This large bedroom has a private decking where you may eat your breakfast or enjoy a pre dinner drink. A superb room for that special celebration One night bookings are not accepted on a Saturday unless a natural gap occurs from mid week bookings, otherwise a minimum of 2 nights is required.

All bedrooms are non smoking All prices are based on 2 guests sharing a room and are inclusive of VAT. The Conservatory restaurant which leads into the walled gardens has been awarded 2 Rosettes, we also offer a bar menu it is advisable to book a table prior to arrival. Cancellation Policy. We require a £20 non refundable booking deposit as confirmation of accommodation booking. This is transferable to a future date within 3 months if travel plans change. Our cancellation policy is 24 hours midday. There will be a charge for 1 night room rate if the booking is cancelled after midday on the day prior to arrival day. Pets Welcome We are pleased to welcome guests with their pets, usually dogs, but sometimes cats or budgies. We have ground floor rooms with bathroom which are ideal for responsible pet owners, with parking at the bedroom door. We provide doggy towels and blankets, drinking bowls, biscuits and a map showing short walks from the hotel. Dogs may be brought into the main hotel building and bar eating areas by prior arrangement. But we do not permit dogs to sleep in the main hotel bedrooms. We do not allow dogs to sleep in the main hotel and would like responsible dog owners to keep there dog on a lead while in the garden and public areas. The walled gardens offer plenty of shady corners to rest after a long walk whilst tired owners have afternoon tea or a gin and tonic. Our new herb garden project which we have added in 2006 will be an area at the rear of the hotel gardens, which will be carefully planted to attract wildlife and birds.  Dogs are welcome in the ground floor bedrooms 7,8,9,10,11,27,28,29,30,31 at £8.00 per night.
